She was the singer of the popular bands MERL and MIR in the 1970s.\n\nShe has worked in the variety shows Astoria, Tallinn and Viru. In 1971, Kuut participated in the feature film \"Varastati Vana Toomas\" and the rock opera \"Imelugu\" at the Vanemuine Theater.\n\nHer recordings are on dozens of compilation albums and many solo albums, among others the CDs with old hits \"Raagus vysut\" (2005) and \"Marju Marynel Kuut\" (2006).\n\nShe had received a lifetime achievement award for her contribution to Estonian music.",
