Hiroko Kanasugi (金杉 弘子, Kanasugi Hiroko) is a Japanese screenwriter from Tokyo, Japan. She is a member of the Japan Screenwriters Federation. She was originally a writer for variety shows and radio programs. She made her debut as a screenwriter in 2001 with the TV drama Yappari neko ga suki (I Like Cats). She is a multi-talented writer who is active in a wide range of fields, including screenplays for movies, anime and TV dramas, as well as radio, children's television programs and lyrics.
