Lukas Podolski is a German former professional footballer who played as a forward. He was born on June 4, 1985, in Gliwice, Poland. He began his professional career with 1. FC Köln and later played for Bayern Munich. In 2012, he joined Arsenal, where he made over 80 appearances and won the FA Cup in the 2013–14 season. Podolski later played for clubs including Inter Milan, Galatasaray, and Vissel Kobe. At international level, he represented Germany, earning over 100 caps and winning the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
