Dennis Overeem, born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 1971 is a Dutch writer/director and actor. He played in several drama- and comedy series and theatre plays. He worked as a casting director at Kemna Casting in Amsterdam for ten years. After leaving the casting agency he went to Los Angeles to train acting with Ivana Chubbuck. When he returned to the Netherlands he set his mind on being a writer and a director. Since the summer of 2010 he wrote and directed four comedy series and a couple of short films.
