Jon Cedar (1931-2011) was an American actor who appeared in more than sixty films and television shows during his career. He was best known for his recurring role as Corporal Karl Langenscheidt on the television series Hogan's Heroes. After serving in the U.S. military during the Korean War, he honed his craft in high school theatre before joining his family in traveling musical and off-Broadway productions.
