Gill Eatherley was born in 1950 and studied at Winchester School of Art (1969-1970), Saint Martins School of Art (1970-1973) and the Royal College of Art (1974). She began making films in 1971 as a member of the London Filmmaker's Co-operative. Her expanded cinema performances and film installations have been widely exhibited both in Britain and internationally.
