Tyler Christopher began his acting career on the daytime drama General Hospital as Nikolas Cassadine in July 1996. He immediately captured the hearts of fans and the notice of television critics. He won the Soap Opera Digest Award as "Best Newcomer" in 1997. His first run on the show was from 1996 to 1999. Christopher returned to the show in 2003.
