Alberte Aveline, born in September 1939 in the former French department of Constantine, was a French actress whose career was closely tied to the Comédie‑Française. Trained at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, she earned a first prize in modern comedy and a second prize in classical comedy, quickly establishing herself as a versatile performer. She joined the Comédie‑Française as a pensionnaire in 1966 and became its 480th sociétaire in 1989, dedicating more than three decades to the institution.
