Susan was born in CA but grew up along the Gulf Coast in both Mississippi and Florida in a Navy family. As an adult, Susan, joined the Air Force and fulfilled a successful enlistment term. After the military she pursued life in the coffee world working for various companies to include owning her own coffee shop from 2006 - 2010.
