Ingrid Chauvin (born 3 October 1973) is a French television and stage actress, known for her roles in the miniseries Méditerranée, Dolmen, and the police procedural series Femmes de loi. Ingrid Chauvin was born on 3 October 1973 in Argenteuil in the department of Val-d'Oise, to a lifeguard father and a watercolor painter and documentalist mother. Despite her parents' opposition, Ingrid sought to become an actress since she was a child. Her parents then divorced when she was eight.
