Alexander Mindadze (Александр Анатольевич Миндадзе) is a well-known Soviet and Russian screenwriter and film director. From 1977 to 2003, he wrote screenplays for the films of Vadim Abdrashitov. He was also the screenwriter for Pavel Lyubimov's and Alexei Uchitel's films. In 2007, he began directing films based on his own screenplays.
