Faraz Fesharaki (born 1986 in Esfahan, Iran) is an Iranian-German cinematographer and filmaker. He received his bachelor’s degree in film and his master’s degree in dramatic literature from Tehran University of Art. From 2009 to 2011, he attended Abbas Kiarostami’s workshop. In 2012, he moved to Berlin to study cinematography at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb), graduating in 2020. He now lives in both Berlin and Tehran.
