Yamashita Shingo (山下清悟) is a Japanese animator, anime director, storyboard artist, and compositor. A leading member of the webgen movement in the mid to late 2000s, he is perhaps the most prolific animator of the scene; Shingo is influenced by the animations of Norio Matsumoto and Mitsuo Iso, and was inspired to pursue a career in animation after seeing the former's work on Naruto #30 (2003). He is primarily known now for his high concept and technical anime opening videos.
