Denny Hulme was a New Zealand Formula 1 driver, born on June 18, 1936, in Motueka, New Zealand. Known for his consistent and determined driving style, he won the 1967 Formula 1 World Championship with Brabham. Hulme also had a successful career in Can-Am racing and later drove for McLaren in F1 until 1974. He passed away on October 4, 1992, in Bathurst, Australia, after suffering a heart attack while driving in a touring car race.
