Álvaro Arce started his animation career in Hollywood in 1961. He worked as a Layout Designer at several production studios that where producing TV commercials and theatrical series such as; Bob Clampett's Snow Ball Studios on the Beany and Cecil show, Larry Harmon Productions, Warner Bros Looney Tunes, UPA Studios and Format Productions on The Lone Ranger show. In 1967 he joined Hanna Barbera Productions to work as Layout and Storyboard Designer for The Abbot and Costello Show.
