Robert Bernard Fowler is an English football manager and former player, including for Liverpool F.C. He was born in Toxteth, Liverpool, and grew up in the inner city area of Liverpool. As a player, he was a striker, and is the eighth-highest goalscorer in the history of the Premier League. He is best known for his time at Liverpool, initially from 1993 to 2001. He scored 183 goals in total for Liverpool, earning the nickname "God" from the Anfield fans.
