Anna Ansone (1993) is a Latvian film director. Ansone studied at the National Film School in Riga and completed her postgraduate studies at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM). Her graduation film, Still Life (2020), was shown at numerous short film festivals and won the West-Art Jury prize at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. In 2022, Can’t Help Myself (2022) won Best Short at Riga International Film Festival and screened at Rotterdam in 2023.
