Elizabeth Lawrence (September 6, 1922 – June 11, 2000) was an American actress, best known for her long-running role as Myra Murdock Sloane in the soap opera All My Children from 1979–1991. She had roles in other soap operas: Guiding Light, As the World Turns, A World Apart, and The Road of Life. She is also known for her roles as Chloe Williams - blind mother of Julia Roberts' character Laura Burney - in Sleeping with the Enemy (1991), Mrs. Blair in We're No Angels (with Robert DeNiro, Sean Penn and Demi Moore), Rebecca Nurse in The Crucible (1996), and the school nurse in Unbreakable (2000)…
