Keith Hetherington (1929 - June 30, 2021) was an Australian actor, writer and novelist who worked as television scriptwriter on such Australian TV shows as Homicide, Matlock Police, Division 4, Solo One, The Box, The Spoiler and Chopper Squad. Hetherington began writing particularly westerns for Cleveland to pen about 1,000 novels under the names Kirk Hamilton and Brett Waring. Hetherington became a journalist for the Queensland Health Education Council, writing weekly articles for newspapers and radio plays dramatising on health subjects.
