Kim Hamilton was born Dorothy Mae Aiken in Los Angeles. Spending time there and at her other home on the upper West Side of Manhatten during her 81 years. She wanted to become a model but was rejected because of her height and color. Took acting classes and got an agent. First acting job was on Amos and Andy as Andy's girlfriend on several episodes. Appeared on more than 60 TV shows and movies including To Kill a Mockingbird with Gregory Peck. Married Robert Hamilton in 1951 at 18, had two children Robert and Tanya and divorced in 1961.
