This 18-minute film does not claim to be a complete and technical story of the invention of cinema. He tries to situate the work accomplished by some Belgians such as Désiré van Monckhoven, Baeckelandt, Gevaert, Robertson (pseudonym of Étienne-Gaspard Robert), Joseph Plateau, in the major stages of an evolution that is briefly sketched from its origins to the present day, from the first object in motion to silent film, sound film, film in black and white, color, screen Electronic music accompanies the different stages of Belgian cinema.
