Maria Teresa Camoglio has been looking for answers in a therapy facility for dysfunctional young women. She lets the young women talk about their suffering from anorexia and thus gains a new unobstructed view of anorexia. The disease, which is often dismissed as a fad, shows its life-threatening brutality here. If you are trapped in it, you can't just start eating again. First, as one of the girls explains, there is the seductive addiction to the high feeling that hunger can convey for a time. But soon control slips away and turns into coercion.
