Merle Collet is a German actress and author who grew up in Lingen an der Ems. At the age of 14, she was runner-up in the German tap dance championship in the "small group" category. Merle Collet graduated from Johanneum grammar school in Lingen in 2006 and moved to Hamburg in the same year to complete her dance, singing and acting training at the Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama from 2006 to 2009.
